About Me
Hello, my name is Juan Alonzo. I was born and raised in South Texas in the city of Mission. I'm currently a Senior at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and majoring in Graphic Design (Visual Communications).
I still remember my first serious attempt at drawing, it was from a book of a TV show I used to watch. Of course it came out looking completely off, but this made me venture further into drawing and eventually painting. This was my introduction to the fine arts and it was a great passion of mine for most of my school life. I had plans to become an artist and make my living out of my paintings and drawings, but after serious thinking and guidance from those close to me, i realized that I should instead pursue my future in something else. This lead to me being introduced into the world of Graphic Design.
I have a love and passion towards any form of art. During my free time, I love to watch anime's and shows, play video games, read some books and shoot some photos with some of my traditional analog photos. If i'm not doing that, then I'm just relaxing and listening to various musics and watching movies. I occasionally like to paint with oils and watercolors, since it's really meditative.
There are still many things i need to learn and every project i do is a learning experience and i can't wait for what the future holds!
